Because that’s what these newborn photography sessions are all about.
Capturing the way you are together as a family. How you fold in around your new favourite person; how they look at you, fit against you. Those milk-drunk cuddles in the safety of your arms.
They’re a chance for you to switch off, breathe and rest. To be reassured, to be calmed, to be present. To appreciate all these brief and beautiful moments- capture them, and keep them safe.

My newborn photography sessions are laid-back, unhurried, and completely baby-led.
We’ll have a chat, and a drink; maybe have ‘the tour’. I’ll see how the light is, and start planning out shots in my head. And then for a little while, you can just…rest. Relax. Let me take over for a bit, and enjoy your tea before it goes cold.
And in those quiet, restful moments- I’ll capture them as they are.
Their furry cheeks, and ears; their impossibly tiny hands and feet. All those ‘look how small they were!’ details that’ll grow, and change, and fade.
And when you’ve finished your tea, and ready for cuddles, I’ll gradually start to bring you into the frame.
We’ll move slowly from room to room; giving you gentle guidance, so you’re never feeling lost or unsure. But mostly I’ll give you space to just be.
To be intimate, to let your guards down, to be together.
Because these are the moments that’ll mean the most to you in years to come; the ones you’ll love, the ones you’ll frame.
