WHERE THE LIGHT LINGERS
An easy outdoor session where your family can wander, play and be yourselves while the moments that define this stage naturally unfold.
Because one day, these will be the photographs they hold in their hands, searching for you…
The little moments you never thought to frame…
until now
Time doesn’t ask permission, does it?
One minute they’re pressing dandelions into your hand, the next they’re running ahead, their laughter carried by the wind.
That’s what I want to capture for you; not perfection, not poses, but presence. The way you hold them close, the freckles that bloom in summer, the moments that happen in-between everything else, thats where the moments of gold are…
My sessions are warm, relaxed, and unhurried. You don’t need to do anything but be together. I’ll guide you gently, then step back so your story can unfold naturally.
Trust me I know how daunting it can be to step out in front of the camera, I also know how much you will thank yourself when you do! In the era of smart phones and convenience it almost seems redundant to be in a position to choose a photographer for anything other than a special occasion, a wedding maybe, but how about noticing the special things in the ordinary days too. A wild afternoon on the moors or a sunset evening on the beach will quickly become the days we yearn for as our families grow and spread their wings. So whilst they’re here, whilst you are the magic maker, whilst they smile with their whole face lets romanticise the hell out of these moments and freeze them for tomorrow.
Because one day, these won’t just be photographs.
They’ll be the memories you’ll reach for again and again, your story, your legacy.
Every session begins with connection, a little conversation, a wander and a lot of laughter. From there, we’ll create images that feel like you: honest, warm and full of love.
I’ve designed a small collection of packages to keep things simple and flexible. Each one includes your session time, a curated gallery of professionally edited images in a private viewing gallery.
After your session you an expect me to get carefully begin working on your gallery, I edit all the images so you receive a full gallery of approximately 60 images, around 3-4 weeks after your session. From here you get to choose the images you would like to keep to treasure. If your session includes professional prints you choose the ones you would like to hold in your hands and I’ll post on to you when received back from the professional lab. Something tangible for today and something priceless for tomorrow. As always I’ll be with you each step of the way to help you where you need.
Deep in the wonderful wild season of family life, there’s a package below that will fit your story perfectly, send me an email to book your session.

A Little Note From Me
I’m still deep in my motherhood era and have been for the last 20 years! Thats incredible! Its no secret that I feel I didn’t do everything right, and who does. Making mistakes and learning IS motherhood!
But a regret I carry deeply is living a life undocumented, so drained from a busy work life and feeling too insecure to ever be a part of photos has meant I don’t have them. And if I don’t have them, neither do my children, and that makes me sad because flipping through old photos is such a privilege, to be able to relive those moments is the ultimate heart warmer. Not much makes my heart smile as much as looking back on photos of those I love, especially those who I can no longer reach for. My biggest take away is; even if you don’t feel worth it, take a photo anyway, doesn’t have to always by a professional but taking it will make someone else’s heart smile.
Because one day, these moments will be the ones you’ll look back on and whisper, remember when…
